Karen Chase, MS, L.Ac.

Karen Chase is a licensed acupuncturist in New York and is nationally board certified by NCCAOM (National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). Ms. Chase holds a master’s degree in acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with training in Chinese and Japanese style of acupuncture. She is also a doctor of Naturopathic Medicine.

While Karen treats all medical conditions, she has had particular success with infertility, orthopedic and dermatological issues.

Karen Chase has developed a system of Anti-Aging Acupuncture. She specializes in TCM dermatology and cosmetic acupuncture. Karen is certified in the application of facial rejuvenation acupuncture and has studied the theories and techniques of Martha Lucas, Elizabeth Wakefield, Lillian Bridges, Ping Zhang, Paul Adkins, and Jean Hanner. Ms. Chase has taken various components and has created her own unique protocol in order to utilize the best available techniques for her patients

Karen has participated in advanced palpatory diagnosis and acupuncture trainings with Dan Bensky and Peter Deadman. She has advanced certification in Zheng Gu Tui Na through Tom Bisio and Frank Butler.  She has also studied orthopedic-style acupuncture with Matt Callison and Bill Helm. she is certified in Neurofunctional Electrical Acupuncture.

Karen looks at you as a whole person, rather than focusing on what is wrong. She approaches healing and longevity from many perspectives: bioenergetically through acupuncture and e-stim, biomechanically through manipulation, and biochemically through herbs, homeopathy and nutrition. Karen uncovers the root cause of your health problems, and then enables your body’s natural healing capabilities.

Her mission is to educate and help people stop premature aging and to live healthier, more enriched and satisfying lives.
